The scholarship winners in 2004
12 000 kroons was awarded to Jarmo Karing, choreographer and member of the United Dancers of Zuga. His work "Open" was presented by Triinu Arund.
Jarmo graduated from Tallinn Pedagogical University choreography department in 2001. He has participated in workshops by different teachers (Benno Woorham, Riccardo Morrison, Thomas Lehmen) in Estonia and Germany. In 2001 he was the choreographer of the musical "Risk" by Nukuteater. In 2001-2002 he worked with the Berlin based Rubato Dance Company. He is also one of the teachers in a children's dance studio, T-Studio, in Haapsalu.

For the next I.D.A festival Jarmo is preparing a performance called "3006 - Black, White, Blue".
8000 kroons was awarded to Maarja Pärn for her dance "Simetra".
When she got the scholarship, Maarja was still at high school. Today she has accomplished one of her dreams and is a student of the choreography department of the Tallinn University (formerly Tallinn Pedagocical University).
Maarja has been dancing for 13 years, mostly in Hetero Studio. She has actively participated in festivals Koolitants and Future and taken part of several workshops by different teachers.
In the future she would like to study dance in London, in Laban Centre or in Contemporary Dance School. "I just can't be without dancing, dance is a natural part of me," she says.
